BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Kenneth Neal Weaver handed away peacefully on April 23, 2024.
He was born on Might 11,1933, in Geary, Oklahoma to the late Noah Cleveland Weaver and Hazel Gladys Trusty.
He’s survived by his spouse of 62 years, Joan Marie Weaver, his son Kenneth Neal Weaver, Jr., his daughters Jill (Ray) Norman and Dana (Jeffrey) Whitehurst; his grandchildren Melissa (Tyler) Keagle, Patrick, Peter, and Bryan Whitehurst, Nikki and Taylor Weaver, Stephanie and Stacy Norman; his nieces Charlotte Hays, Kay Fisk, and Pleasure Meier; and his nephews Jack Wiebener and Dennis McNeil.
He was preceded in loss of life by his sisters Jean McNeil, and June Wiebener.
Ken enlisted within the Air Pressure, by means of which he was given a chance to journey the world. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for gathering worthwhile info whereas on a mission through the Korean battle.
He then graduated from Navigator Coaching and served on a B47 bomber. Whereas he was at his house base, Mac Dill Air Pressure Base in Florida, he met the love of his life, Joan Hickey.
When he was launched from energetic obligation he attended The College of Alabama. He and Joan have been married in 1961 and he graduated as an Electrical Engineer in 1962.
He started his civilian engineering profession with Honeywell Company in St. Petersburg, Florida, engaged on Navigation and Steering Methods for rockets and house methods.
After 5 years, he joined IBM at Cape Canaveral Air Pressure Station engaged on the instrument unit of the Saturn V launch automobile. Later in his profession, he joined The Aerospace Company engaged on the Steering and Navigation system of the Titan launch automobile.
He stayed with The Aerospace Company till he retired 23 years later.
Ken was a lifelong Alabama soccer fan and beloved being a father and Papa. He was an excellent pal to many and introduced humor and smiles to everybody.
A celebration of life might be held on Might 25, 2024 at Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Seaside, Florida at 10:30 a.m.
