NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 Mission Launches to the Area Station
On August 26, a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft launched to the Worldwide Area Station on NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 mission. The subsequent day, the four-person crew, together with NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, arrived on the orbital outpost and have been welcomed aboard as a part of the station’s Expedition 69 crew. Hurricane Idalia Seen from the Area Station
Exterior cameras on the area station captured views of main Hurricane Idalia on August 30, not lengthy after the storm made landfall close to Keaton Seashore, Florida as a Class 3 storm with winds of about 125 miles an hour. August 30, 1983 – Bluford Turns into First African American in Area
August 30 marked the forty-year anniversary of NASA astronaut Man Bluford turning into the primary African American to fly in area.
