SpaceX, NASA delay Crew-6 Dragon astronauts’ return to Earth due to bad weather

4 astronauts on the Worldwide House Station now have to attend a minimum of another day to return to Earth after dangerous climate delayed their SpaceX capsule’s return.

SpaceX and NASA introduced Friday (Sept. 1) that the Crew Dragon capsule carrying their Crew-6 astronauts will now depart the Worldwide House Station (ISS) no sooner than early Sunday (Sept. 3), a 24-hour delay that pushes the crew’s splashdown to simply after midnight Monday morning. The Crew-6 astronauts have been initially slated to undock on Saturday and land the following day.
