Thomas Michael “Mike” Mars, 74, of Madison, handed away at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, Might 6, 2024, at his residence. Born July 12, 1949, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Louise (Purdue) Mars.
Mike loved gathering Coke memorabilia, fishing, and NASCAR.
Survivors embrace his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Esker Moberly of North Vernon; nephews, Thomas (Kristy) Moberly, Invoice Moberly, and Matthew Moberly, all of North Vernon; niece, Tonya Meyers of North Vernon; and brother-in-law, Dallas Cherry of North Vernon.
He was preceded in demise by his mother and father; brother, Tony Mars; sister, Kathy Cherry; nephew, Leroy Cherry; and niece, Jeanette Wilson.
A visitation for Mike was performed on Thursday. Might 9, 2024, on the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral House and Cremation Service in North Vernon. A burial can be held at a later date within the Dupont Cemetery in Dupont.
Memorials could be made in honor of Mike by way of the funeral house to the American Most cancers Society.
