Le Mars girls golf wins triangular, competes at tourney | Sentinel

 

SIOUX CITY — The Le Mars Group women golf workforce received a triangular in opposition to Missouri River Actions Convention foes on Tuesday at Whispering Creek Golf Membership. 

The Bulldogs shot a 195, ending two strokes higher than host Sioux Metropolis East. Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln was a distant third with a 232 workforce rating.

There was a three-way tie atop the leaderboard between two Le Mars golfers and one East participant. Mya Skov and Taylor Mackey shot 47s for the Bulldogs whereas Brooklyn Limoges had the identical rating for the Black Raiders. The tiebreaker noticed Skov end first, Mackey take second and Limoges finish in third.

Metta Skov shot a 50 for the third Le Mars rating. The workforce rating was accomplished by Kynlee Schmidt’s 51. 

Non-counting scores for the Bulldogs had been a 54 from Mary Sullivan and a 55 from Jada Plueger.

SIOUX CITY — The Le Mars Group women golf workforce made a return journey to Whispering Creek Golf Membership on Wednesday for the ten workforce Sioux Metropolis East Invite. Le Mars completed in the midst of the pack of the ten groups with a fifth place rating. 

Mya Skov and Taylor Mackey led the way in which with matching 100 scores on the 18 gap course.

Skov was in a position to match par twice on her spherical on No. 4 and No. 13. She shot a 47 on the primary 9 and a 53 on the second 9.

Mackey shot equivalent scores on every 9. She matched par twice on the primary 9, getting even-pars on each par-3 holes. She added one other even on the par-3 seventeenth. 

Kynlee Schmidt turned within the workforce’s third rating with a 105. She shot a 48 on the entrance 9, however slipped to a 57 on the again 9. 

Metta Skov rounded out the scoring 4 for the Bulldogs with a 112. She ended with a 53 on the primary 9 with back-to-back even-pars on No. 4 and 5. She shot a 59 on the second half of the course. 

Jada Plueger (55-65—120) and Raegan Davis (78-64—142) had been the workforce’s different two scores. 

Spencer’s Meredith Baker and Morgan Irvine tied for the perfect scores of the day with 80s. These scores helped lead the Tigers to the workforce title with a 349.
