Juno’s Best Images of Jupiter and Its Moons (So Far)

These three photographs present the cyclones swirling round Jupiter’s north pole in microwave, seen, and ultraviolet gentle, respectively. All captured by Juno, the completely different wavelengths reveal completely different elements of the storms. In accordance with a NASA JPL launch, the microwave picture reveals that the storms are no less than 62 miles (100 kilometers) deep, whereas the infrared picture exhibits the warmth radiating from Jupiter’s higher environment.
