Tribute to Healthcare Staff Plate
A token of appreciation for front-line healthcare employees throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Perseverance rover was ready for launch on the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California and Kennedy House Middle in Florida throughout the top of the COVID-19 pandemic. Engineers and technicians labored beneath tough situations to prepared the rover and spacecraft for a seven-month journey to Mars.
The Perseverance group designed the Unity plate as a tribute to the decision and perseverance of front-line healthcare employees, who danger their lives to deal with these in want. These brave people encourage all of us to face the best challenges, and we hope this mission gives inspiration in return. This plate was put in on the left aspect of the rover chassis.
