GRAND ISLAND—- Daniel R. Mars, 56, of Grand Island, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at CHI Well being St. Francis Medical Middle.
Celebration of Life Providers will likely be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, at All Faiths Funeral Residence. The Rev. Adam Snoberger will officiate. Army honors will likely be rendered by the U.S. Marine Corp and United Veterans Honor Guards.

Visitation will likely be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Residence. Memorials are steered to the household to be decided later.
Daniel was born on August 10, 1967, in Grand Island, the son of Robert and Linda (Hermsmeyer) Mars. He attended Trinity Lutheran College from Okay-Eighth grades and graduated from Grand Island Senior Excessive College, class of 1985.
Daniel served in the united statesMarine Corp and the U.S. Military from 1992-2013. He honorably served his nation having been deployed six instances.
He labored for JBS from 1985 till his demise. Through the summers he labored for Skate Island. Daniel was an avid curler skater since he may stroll. He was a weapon collector and liked grabbing drinks along with his boys, Gage and Damion. He loved taking part in disc golf and video video games. His biggest treasure was his household and time spent along with his grandkids.
These left to cherish his reminiscence are his fiancée, Angela Borowy; his kids, Brett Dahmer, Ali Lee, Gage Mars, Damion Mars, Gemini Mars, Max Borowy, Tiffany Sherwood, Jackie Garcia and Jacob Garcia; many grandchildren; his father, Robert Mars; and two sisters, Anna Hundstad and Orma Mars.
He’s preceded in demise by his mom.
