Thales Alenia House mentioned it has signed a framework contract with the European House Company for its mission to seek for life on Mars.
The corporate mentioned the multi-tranche settlement is value a complete of 522 million euros ($567 million) and pertains to the event of the entry, descent and touchdown module for the company’s mission to the planet.
The contract additionally contains work on the mission’s rover, upgrades and upkeep work, mentioned the corporate, which is a three way partnership between Thales and Leonardo.
The mission to the planet is about to launch from the U.S. between October and December 2028, Thales Alenia mentioned.
