Almost half of Moon missions fail; why is space still so hard?

To make long-duration, long-distance house journey doable, there are an enormous variety of issues to be solved. A few of them appear throughout the realm of the doable, reminiscent of higher radiation shielding, self-sustaining ecosystems, autonomous robots, extracting air and water from uncooked assets, and zero-gravity manufacturing.
