Mars Hill shoots past Tusculum Women, 80-67 – WGRV.com

MARS HILL, N.C. — Maddie Gillie drilled 9 three-pointers and scored 32 factors to steer Mars Hill College to an 80-67 victory over Tusculum College in South Atlantic Convention girls’s basketball Wednesday night at Stanford Area.

Monique Shim led the Pioneers (3-15, 1-11 SAC) with 17 factors on 5-for-7 capturing from three-point vary, whereas Religion Silva and Ni’Kiah Chesterfield scored 16 factors apiece. The Pioneers trailed by as many as 13 factors within the second quarter however grabbed the lead early within the third, solely to see the Lions regain the lead for good with an 11-2 run.
