Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Symphony No.41 in C Main, K551 ‘Jupiter’ (Take away !)

The Irish Baroque Orchestra performs for the primary time within the historic Duiske Abbey, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny, with Inventive Director Peter Whelan, presenting three exuberant Masterpieces all in the important thing of C main. From Haydn’s rustic ‘Bear’ Symphony with its blaring bagpipe finale, to Mozart’s beautiful oboe concerto with its hovering traces and blue-sky optimism and ending with the ‘Jupiter’, Mozart’s remaining symphony – a kaleidoscope of irrepressible pleasure and everlasting invention. Hear all three items anew, with their colors brightly rendered on historic devices – that is certain to be a night to bear in mind!

“the performers’ sheer sense of pleasure came visiting in each be aware” Robert Hugill, April 2023 (Wigmore Corridor, London – Messiah).
