Gail Weeden Yates Obituary – The Palm Beach Post

Gail Weeden Yates, of Jupiter, Florida handed peacefully in her residence on August fifth, 2023. She was 85 years of age and died of pure causes after a brief sickness. Gail grew up in Delaware and attended faculty at Mary Washington College in Virginia the place she discovered the love of her life and soul mate in Marvin Yates with whom she was married to for 65 years.

Gail married Mavin Jewell Yates of Chicago, Illinois on July twenty seventh, 1957 in Media, PA they usually started their 65+ 12 months journey along with their first residence in Orange, CA. After varied profession strikes together with houses in Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, North Carolina, Delaware, the UK and Pennsylvania, they in the end settled and retired in Jupiter, Florida the place they lived for over 20 years.

Upon their retirement and along with her welcoming smile and twinkle in her eye, Gail spent nearly all of her life as an adoring mom and grandmother whereas residing in Jupiter, Florida and summering in Rehoboth Seashore, Delaware. She discovered enjoyment in studying, pictures and spending time on the seashore with household and good buddies.

Gail is predeceased by her loving husband, Marvin Yates of 65 years, passing in late December 2022, She is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Yates Walter (North Stonington, CT), Kimberly Lynn Yates (deceased of Kennett Sq., PA) and Michelle Yates Reckert (Cary, NC). She can be survived by sons-in-law, Thomas H. Walter, DPM (North Stonington, CT) and Peter A. Reckert (Cary, NC) and her 4 (4) grandchildren, Brittany Walter Woods (Matthew R. Woods) of Mansfield, MA, Justin Thomas Walter of Pawcatuck, CT, Paige Reckert Happ (Tyler J. Happ) of Cary, NC and Hope Kimberly Reckert of Cary, NC. Gail was blessed along with her first nice granddaughter, Reese Mae Woods, of Mansfield, MA in early 2022.

A non-public Memorial Service and interment shall be held with shut household.
