Le Mars, Iowa — The Le Mars Police Division is in search of a driver concerned in a hit-and-run that despatched one particular person to the hospital.
Based on Le Mars Police, the hit-and-run occurred at about 7:25 p.m. Sunday in Le Mars on the intersection of sixth Ave and 4th Road SW. Police say a 45-year-old girl was strolling within the crosswalk when she was struck by a southbound pickup truck. After the girl was struck, police say the pickup left the scene.
