Object that slammed into Florida home was indeed space junk from ISS, NASA confirms

The mysterious object that crashed by the roof of a Florida house final month did certainly come from the Worldwide Area Station (ISS), NASA has confirmed.

That house, within the seaside metropolis of Naples, belongs to Alejandro Otero. Shortly after the March 8 incident, Otero said he thought the offending object was a part of a cargo pallet filled with 5,800 kilos (2,630 kilograms) of getting older batteries jettisoned from the ISS in March 2021.
