Police searching for driver who struck a pedestrian in Le Mars, IA

LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) – The Le Mars Police Division says they’re on the lookout for a driver concerned in a hit-and-run that despatched one individual to the hospital.

In line with Le Mars Police, the hit-and-run occurred at about 7:25 p.m. in Le Mars on the intersection of sixth Ave and 4th Road SW. Police say a pickup truck struck a pedestrian after which fled the scene. The pedestrian, who police haven’t recognized presently, obtained critical accidents and was despatched to a Le Mars hospital earlier than being transferred to a Sioux Metropolis hospital.

KTIV confirmed with Le Mars Police that the car that struck the pedestrian was a pink, full-size pickup. Police say they’re engaged on getting surveillance footage of the pickup and plan to share it with native media when it’s obtainable.
