Free symposium encourages space, STEM careers

A free digital symposium designed to encourage college students to pursue area and science, know-how, engineering and arithmetic or STEM-related careers is launching this fall. The assembly of Pacific Worldwide Area Middle for Exploration Programs (PISCES)—a program of College of Hawaiʻi at Hilo’s School of Pure and Well being Sciences—will spotlight area exploration and know-how.

“The purpose of the Area Science Symposium is to present college students a sensible overview of what area careers are like. Many various disciplines are concerned and we hope to encourage college students to pursue their very own aspirations via the tutorial {and professional} tales of our presenters,” stated Christopher Yoakum, a communications officer at PISCES.
