Returning astronauts to the moon is NASA’s biggest challenge, but not its only one: report

NASA’s Workplace of the Inspector Normal (OIG) has issued its annual report for 2023, highlighting the challenges that lie forward for the U.S. house company.

The report acknowledges improvements made by NASA since its creation in 1958 which have made it a worldwide house science chief, together with applications reminiscent of Apollo, the house shuttle, the James Webb House Telescope (JWST), and rising applied sciences for sustainable aviation. It additionally highlights substantial price progress and prolonged schedule delays as points that proceed to influence NASA applications starting from house flight to main science and exploratory applications.
