Volleyball host Livingstone Thursday, travel to Mars Hill Saturday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State College volleyball staff will host a divisional match-up in opposition to the Blue Bears of Livingstone School on Thursday, October nineteenth inside Whitaker Gymnasium. The match is scheduled for six:00 p.m.
 
The Rams will then journey to Mars Hill, North Carolina for a non-conference match-up in opposition to the Lions of Mars Hill College on Saturday, October twenty first. The match is scheduled for  2:00 p.m.

  • Rheign Davis was named Defensive Participant of the Week for week six.
  • WSSU was predicted to complete fourth total within the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Affiliation (CIAA) ballot and third within the southern division.

Final Time Out
WSSU took two out of three on the CIAA Spherical-Up this previous weekend. Raven Grey led the Rams in whole kills with 23. Lexis Tatum additionally totaled 22 kills.

Raven Grey leads the Rams in kills with 173 adopted by Janai Tillman with 163, Brooke Norwood leads the Rams in assists with 296, and Kalyn Cuthbertson with 223 digs. Rheign Davis leads in blocks with 36.

Livingstone fell to Virginia State in three straight units 3-0 (25-9, 25-22, 25-20). Mya Dalpiaz leads in kills with 137. Aubree Reyes leads in assists with 193. Tkeyah Peterson leads in aces with 25. MacKenzie Morgan leads in digs with 235. Jessica Lawson leads in blocks with 22.
 
Scouting the Lions
Mars Hill fell to Anderson 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-19). Jaelyn Grimm led the way in which with 14 kills and blocks with 1. Jenna Lengthy led with 46 assists. Katy Smith led in aces with 3. Lindsey McCurley led in digs with 12.
 
CIAA Pre-Season/Ballot
The Rams have been picked fourth total within the CIAA.
 
Up Subsequent
