Dover Athletic have an opportunity to return to the Blue Square South play-offs as they host Worcester City in a game manager Andy Hessenthaler has described as a must-win.
The Whites have drawn three of their last four games, most recently a goalless draw at home to Braintree on Saturday. The sequence has seen them slip out of the top five, but victory could see them leap back into the play-offs, depending on results elsewhere.
Both Danny Walder (virus) and Jon Wallis (ankle) are both doubtful after missing Saturday’s game.
Margate slipped to the bottom of the Ryman Premier with a 3-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Waltham Abbey on Saturday, their fourth successive defeat, all of which have come at home. The fifth game in the run sees them host play-off chasing Tooting & Mitcham, although even a victory is unlikely to lift the Gate off the foot of the table.
Leaders Dartford suffered a surprise 4-1 defeat at home to Billericay on Saturday and will be looking for a quick response. They visit a Maidstone side still looking over their shoulder, four points above the relegation zone, but with only one defeat in their last five.
Ryman South leaders Folkestone Invicta will be expecting a sixth win in seven games as they welcome basement side Eastbourne Town.
Sittingbourne will be looking to close the gap on the play-off positions after a superb run of four straight league wins without conceding a goal. They host Burgess Hill Town, while Whitstable Town will be aiming to build on Saturday’s win against Chipstead by surprising title hopefuls Croydon Athletic.
In-form Sevenoaks Town begin their Premier Division Cup semi-final against Beckenham Town with the first leg at Greatness Park.
In the Kent League, Hythe can climb up to third if they can break a run of three straight defeats when bottom side Lordswood visit Reachfields. Elsewhere, Deal Town visit Norton Sports and Greenwich Borough host Sporting Bengal United.
